Who We Actually Are

We're not your grandfather's law firm. We deal with the kind of legal challenges that didn't even exist a decade ago.

Our Journey

2018

Started in a co-working space with three lawyers who got tired of traditional firms ignoring tech clients.

2019

Won our first major blockchain case. Suddenly everyone wanted to talk to us.

2021

Expanded to our current West Georgia office. Added IP litigation and data privacy teams.

2023

Launched cross-border M&A practice. Handled deals across three continents.

2025

Now we're a 35-person team. Still weird, still effective.

How This Thing Started

Back in 2018, three of us were sitting in various corporate firms dealing with cryptocurrency clients who kept getting turned away. Traditional lawyers didn't get it, didn't want to get it, and honestly seemed scared of anything that wasn't in a textbook from 1987.

So we said screw it, let's do this ourselves. We knew the tech, we understood the legal frameworks, and we weren't afraid to tell a client when their idea was brilliant or completely bonkers.

Turns out there were a lot of companies out there desperate for lawyers who actually understood their business. Not just the legal bits, but the technology itself. We grew fast because we filled a gap that shouldn't have existed in the first place.

What We Actually Stand For

Actually Understanding Tech

We don't just nod and smile when you mention APIs or distributed ledgers. We've built some of this stuff ourselves. Well, some of us have.

Straight Talk

No legal jargon for the sake of it. If something's a bad idea, we'll tell you. If your opponent's being ridiculous, we'll say that too.

Moving Fast

Tech moves at internet speed. We've adapted. No more waiting three days for an email response or two weeks for document review.

Ethical But Not Boring

We follow the rules because we have to keep our licenses. But we're creative as hell within those boundaries.

Global Thinking

Your business doesn't stop at the border and neither do we. We've got connections and expertise across multiple jurisdictions.

Real Relationships

We're not trying to rack up billable hours. We want long-term clients who come back because they trust us, not because they're stuck in a retainer.

The Whole Crew

Team meeting
Team collaboration
Office culture
Tech focus
Vancouver office
Diverse team

Yeah, we actually like hanging out with each other. Makes the long nights during deal closings slightly less painful.

Working Here

We're not gonna lie and say we're all about work-life balance while expecting you to answer emails at 2am. Some weeks are brutal, especially when deals are closing or we're in trial.

But we try to be reasonable humans about it. Flexible hours, remote work when it makes sense, and if you need to leave early for your kid's soccer game, just go. We track results, not face time.

We've got a solid benefits package, professional development budget that you can actually use, and we're serious about mentorship. Junior lawyers here get real responsibility, not just doc review for three years.

Plus our office has a pretty decent espresso machine and nobody judges you for using it at 4pm.
